Privacy Policy

Coldsend Clips is an internal, self-hosted publishing tool operated by a single video clipping studio. It is not offered as a service to the public, and it has no users other than the studio's own operators.

What data we process

The tool stores OAuth access tokens for the studio's own social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), and the video files and captions the studio publishes to those accounts. To produce the clips, it also processes the videos and captions of the creators who have given the studio explicit permission; these videos may show, or carry the voices of, the creators and other people who appear in them (for example, other players). We collect no other data about individuals: no viewer data and no comments.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone except the AI model providers described below, which process it on the studio's behalf solely to produce the clips. We do not track visitors of this site. No cookies are set by this page. We do not use any data for advertising, and we do not combine personal data from one platform with data from another. The only information we carry across platforms is the copyright-check status of the studio's own published clips, used to avoid republishing a clip that one platform has flagged.

YouTube API Services

Coldsend Clips uses YouTube API Services to upload the studio's own short-form videos to the studio's own YouTube channels. By using this application, the studio is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).

What YouTube data we access

Apart from the studio's own channels, the only YouTube content the tool uses is the videos and captions of the creators who have given the studio explicit permission. They are obtained from the creators' own channels and used only to produce the credited clips. We do not read third-party viewer data or comments, and we do not retrieve analytics for channels the studio does not own.

How we use it

Exclusively to call videos.insert on the studio's own channels, and to display the channel name and avatar inside the tool's own interface. YouTube data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to build profiles of any individual. It is shared with no one except AI model providers (such as Anthropic), which process the text of the creators' videos and still frames taken from them, solely to select moments, correct captions, write clip descriptions and check the frames of the credited clips.

Where it is stored

Tokens and channel information are stored in the application's own PostgreSQL database, running on a server the studio controls (Hetzner, EU). That database is not published to the internet: it is reachable only from the application container on the same host.

How long we keep it, and how it is deleted

Revoking our access

The owner of a connected Google account can revoke this application's access at any time from the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revocation takes effect immediately and prevents any further access to that channel.

Google Privacy Policy

Data handled through YouTube API Services is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Data storage and retention (other platforms)

All data is stored on the studio's own server in the EU (Hetzner, Germany/Finland). Access tokens for TikTok and Instagram can be revoked at any time from those platforms' own settings.

Content ownership

Clips published through this tool are derived from long-form videos of content creators who have given the studio explicit permission, and are credited on screen and in captions.
